  • Grip Tape (for permanent mount)

Watch: Temporary Mount Installation

Try Before You Commit: The temporary mount allows you to test SteadyArc without modifying your putter grip. Perfect for your trial period!

1 Install the Temporary Mount

All putter grips have a flat side that's square to the putter head. This is your reference point for alignment.

  • Line up the flat plate of the temporary mount with the flat side of your putter grip (same plane as the putter face)
  • Start tightening the Phillips-head screws evenly until snug
  • Look down the shaft to verify the mount is square with the putter head
  • Once aligned, tighten all Phillips-head screws firmly

2 Attach the Body Housing

  • Mount the body housing with the arm brace and sliding rails onto the temporary mount
  • Tighten the black knurled knob screw finger-tight (just enough so the base doesn't slide)

3 Adjust the Forearm Braces

  • On the underside of the base, locate the two wing screws
  • Loosen the wing screws so each brace can slide in and out freely
  • Set up in your normal putting stance
  • Slide one arm brace toward your forearm until you feel light, even pressure
  • While holding position, tighten the wing screw and make sure the locking teeth are aligned
  • Repeat the process with your other arm brace

4 Perfect Your Putting Stroke

Once fitted, begin practicing your stroke. Remember these key fundamentals:

  • Shoulder-based motion: The stroke should come primarily from your shoulders, not wrists or hands
  • Pendulum swing: Arms and shoulders move together in a smooth, rocking motion—not lifting
  • Quiet wrists: Wrists stay quiet and stable throughout the stroke
  • Square face: The putter face stays square to the path through impact

Doesn't feel right? Simply readjust the arm braces until you find your perfect fit. Everyone's stroke is unique!

Love it? Ready to make it permanent? See the Permanent Mount tab above for installation instructions. If you feel SteadyArc doesn't improve your stroke, simply return it for a refund minus original shipping cost.

Watch: Permanent Mount Installation

You've made the right choice! The permanent mount anchors directly to the shaft for a solid, seamless fit. Once installed, it becomes part of your club—no slipping, twisting, or loosening.

Note: This installation modifies your putter grip. A clubfitter can do it in just a few minutes, or you can do it yourself with care.

1 Prepare the Grip

  • Measure and mark approximately 2 inches from the top of your putter grip
  • Carefully remove that section of grip to expose the steel shaft
  • Clean the exposed shaft by removing all old grip tape

2 Install the Permanent Mount

  • Wrap grip tape around the exposed shaft section
  • Slide the permanent mount down until it's flush with the remaining grip
  • Square the aid to the putter face for proper alignment
  • Tighten the four screws evenly in a cross-pattern until snug

Important: Do not over-torque the screws. Tighten just until snug and secure.

3 Attach the Body Housing

  • Slide the body housing with the brace and slide rails onto the permanent mount
  • Lock into place with the black knurled knob screw, finger-tight

Good news! Your arm brace settings from the temporary mount will transfer perfectly to the permanent mount. No need to readjust!

4 Practice and Storage

Head back to the practice green and work with your SteadyArc. Remember the key fundamentals:

  • The stroke starts from the shoulders, not the wrists
  • Arms and shoulders rock together like a pendulum
  • Wrists stay quiet, putter face stays square

Easy Storage After Your Round:

  • Loosen the black knurled knob screw
  • Remove the SteadyArc body and store it in your golf bag pocket
  • Your putter stays ready—mount and all—for your next round

You're all set! Enjoy your permanently installed SteadyArc putting aid. Now get out there and sink some putts!
